3rd grade- Minimum of 3, maximum of 4 tournaments, includin Grade State. If there are enough players to form more than one team, teams will be divided evenly with focus on basic fundamentals of the game and participation.
4th grade – Minimum of 6, maximum of 8 tournaments, including Grade State. If there are enough players to form more than one team, teams will be divided evenly with focus on basic fundamentals of the game and participation.
5th grade – Minimum of 8, maximum of 10 tournaments, including Grade State. If there are enough players to form more than one team, teams will be divided evenly with focus on basic fundamentals of the game and participation.
6th grade- Minimum of 8, maximum of 10 tournaments, including Grade State. If there are enough players to form more than one team, teams will be divided evenly with focus on basic fundamentals of the game and participation.
7th and 8th grade – 6 tournaments, including Grade State. If there are enough players to form more than one team, players will be evaluated at beginning of season and teams will be split on ability/skill level.
Please note: For a 7th and 8th grader to participate with the BBA, they will be required to sign up for school basketball.
Playing time may not be the same for each player. Coaches may use discretion when determining appropriate playing time for each player. 4th through 6th grade players be allotted adequate playing time, and that all players be allowed to participate in each game. 7th and 8th grade players will earn an opportunity to play in each game provided the player has demonstrated skills, projected a positive attitude and teamwork, and has given full effort as determined by the coach(es)
